I felt the warmth of the staff. The rooftop pool was a highlight, perfect for an afternoon dip against a fine backdrop.

While the overall experience was great, the breakfast could use improvement-some items felt a bit stale, not matching the rest of the hotel's high quality.

The Tryp Hotel in Santa Cruz impressed me with its spacious and clean rooms, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, nestled in a safe neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the excellent breakfast options with a good variety of choices. The gym, though small, had all the necessary equipment in working order and looked new. The rooftop pool, although I didn't use it, appeared well maintained and offered a lovely view. The breakfast quality could improve. Some items seemed a bit lacking in freshness. The seamless check-in and check-out process and the attentive staff were good, despite a few small hiccups.

The plumbing issues really need addressing!!! The rooftop bar not being operational was disappointing. A sauna option without proper signage felt odd, and the gym could definitely use an upgrade to equipment!!!

The room was spacious and clean (you had everything you needed!). It was in a really safe area and just a short ride to the town center. The breakfast had plenty of choices and the staff were super friendly like family.
